Members of the media covering Black/ African Americans interest are invited to participate in a telephone news conference featuring U.S. Census Bureau leadership discussing 2020 Census operational updates and efforts to ensure a complete count of Black communities. Topics of discussion include adjustments made to 2020 Census field operations due to COVID-19, current response rates for the Chicago region (MN, WI MI, IA, IL, IN, MO, AR), upcoming field operations including the Nonresponse Followup Operation, and the effort to secure a complete count in the Black/ African American community across ages, languages and backgrounds. Media Q&A will follow the briefing.
